NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

VILLAGE OF DUNDEE

PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF WATER CHAPTER AND SEWER CHAPTER OF THE VILLAGE CODE

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Dundee, County of Yates, State of New York, will be held at the Village Hall, 12 Union Street, Dundee, New York, on the 13th day of June, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. upon the proposed Local Laws to amend the “Sewer” Chapter and “Water” Chapter by changing from quarterly to monthly billing for sewer and water service.

One Public Hearing for the two (2) separate Local Laws is being held due to the duplication of issues related to the reasons for adoption thereof and the judicious use of time and resources related thereto.

The effect of these Local Laws will be to change billing for sewer service and water rents for customers of the Village sewer and water system from quarterly to monthly.

All persons interested in these proposed Local Laws will be heard by the Board of Trustees at the Public Hearing to be held as stated above. Copies of the proposed Local Laws are available at the Office of the Clerk of the Village of Dundee, 12 Union Street, Dundee, NY 14837 during regular business hours.

The Village Hall is in compliance with accessibility standards of the Americans With Disabilities Act. Any person with a handicap wishing to attend and/or be heard at the public hearing should contact the Village Clerk’s Office at least three (3) business days prior to the date of the public hearing to request any special needs.
